CID 1481 CAT Fault Code

Rear PTO (Power Take-Off) Solenoid

Cause :

When the ignition switch is turned to ON, voltage from the ECM's MREL terminal is applied to the EFI MAIN relay. This causes the contacts of the EFI MAIN relay to close, which supplies power to terminal +B of the TCM.Engine started, engine running, and the PCM detected a high voltage present at the PCM for 3 minutes after the engine started. The Starter Relay Control Circuit High Voltage test monitors the voltage signal that is sent from the ignition switch.

Don't forget ! When a fault code pops up, CAT's Uptime Center is automatically notified via an cellular link, and it alerts the truck's owner by prearranged methods, usually email or phone calls.
